CMC Rocks

PROJECT GOALS

Celebrate and showcase the scale, spirit and cultural impact of CMC Rocks, one of Australia’s biggest country music festivals. Capture the energy of the artists, fans and live performances, and create a documentary that would extend the festival’s reach beyond the event itself.

WHAT WAS CREATED

A broadcast quality documentary filmed on site at CMC Rocks QLD, chronicling the festival, the artists and the passionate community behind it. The production included full outside broadcast facilities to capture concert sets live, ensuring high quality performance footage throughout. The documentary was produced in partnership with Five Peas Production and Director Bruce Walters. It aired nationally on CMC through FOXTEL and was distributed across social media platforms.

WHAT WE DID

  • Engaged by co promoters Chugg Entertainment and Rob Potts Entertainment to lead and coordinate all production elements.
  • Partnered with Five Peas Production and Director Bruce Walters to deliver creative direction, filming and live performance coverage.
  • Managed pre production, logistics, on site filming and full outside broadcast operations to record live sets and festival experiences.
  • Oversaw all post production including edits, music integration, narrative structure and artist approvals of the final documentary.
  • Delivered broadcast and social media versions to maximise reach across television and digital channels.

OUTCOME

The documentary strengthened the CMC Rocks brand and extended the festival’s presence well beyond its live event. National broadcast on CMC (FOXTEL) and strong online engagement helped deepen fan connection and showcased the artists, performances and community that make CMC Rocks one of Australia’s most significant music festivals.
